Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
This class aims to build character and confidence in handling several different types of situations. At this level students will learn more physical techniques for both self-defense and sportive aspects of grappling. Come learn a great martial art and competitive sport. All teen classes will be traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Judo elements, practiced in a gi or kimono. Much of what will be learned in this class will be applicable to both gi and no gi scenarios.
Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling
Get a great full body workout, lose weight, and learn a very practical martial art and competitive sport. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great way to challenge yourself, and to grow in your own personal life and journey. Once a strong self-defense foundation has been achieved, more sportive aspects will be taught. At the Forge we work hard to create a safe, supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow. We offer traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Judo elements, practiced in a gi or kimono, as well as no gi, submission wrestling, practiced in work out gear.
Practice and perfect your punches, kicks, knees, and elbows using a variety of partner drills, and focus mitts. This class is a great place to start if you have no previous martial arts experience and you are looking for a hard workout while also learning effective techniques that can be used in self defense or competition. Boxing gloves are required and it is recommend students use handwraps.
This class is focused on putting different elements of hand to hand combat in a comprehensive self-defense system. It blends wrestling, striking, and submissions. Full protective gear is required to spar (head gear, mouthpiece, gloves, shinpads, headgear). Gloves and mouthpiece for practice.
Women’s Self Defense Seminars
